Dallas Public Adjuster, a public adjusting service of Rise Public Adjusting LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard information when you visit publicadjustersdallas.com, use its tools, or contact us by form, phone, text, or email. It is written to describe what this website actually does. By using the website, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you give us
When you submit a Free Claim Review or contact form, we collect the information you enter:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Property city or ZIP code
- Claim type and claim status
- Your insurance company (optional)
- Date of loss (optional)
- Your message and any details about your property damage or claim
- File uploads such as photos or PDFs (optional)
You do not need to give us personal information to browse the site, but we cannot answer a request without a way to reach you. Please share only what is needed to describe your situation, and do not send Social Security numbers, bank account details, or similar sensitive data through the form.
How form submissions are handled
All form submissions on this website are emailed to info@publicadjustersdallas.com using authenticated SMTP. They are not stored in a website database. Files you upload are attached to that email and are not kept on the web server after the message is sent. Once delivered, your submission is held in our business email system and retained as described below.
If you email Joseph Dittman directly at jditt@risepublicadjusting.com, or call or text us at +1 (832) 503-5866, that information is handled the same way as a form submission.
Information collected automatically
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, time on the site, the referring website, approximate location derived from your IP address, and browser and device type. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. We use the reports in aggregate to improve content and site performance; we do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with the information you submit in our forms.
You can limit Google Analytics by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser, using a browser with tracking protection, or installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Server and security logs
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Like most hosts, Hostinger keeps server and security logs that may include IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, and timestamps. These logs are used to run and protect the service and are retained under the host's own policies.
How we use your information
- To review your claim situation and respond to your inquiry or Free Claim Review request
- To communicate with you about your property damage, claim, or our services
- To prepare and handle a claim if you become a client under a written contract
- To keep internal records and meet legal and regulatory obligations, including Texas Department of Insurance record requirements
- To understand site usage and improve the website, and to protect it from spam and abuse
Calls, texts, and emails
By submitting your information, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text, or email about your inquiry or our services. We call or text only in response to a request you made, such as a Free Claim Review, or in connection with a claim we are handling for you. We do not send marketing text messages. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Spam protection and rate limiting
To limit spam and automated abuse of the forms, the website stores a one-way hash of the visitor's IP address along with submission timestamps. The hash cannot readily be turned back into the original IP address. These records are kept for up to 3 days and then deleted.
Cookies and browser storage
- Google Analytics sets cookies as described above.
- We use no advertising cookies and do not run ad retargeting.
- The site may store small preferences in your browser's local storage, such as a note that you closed the Free Claim Review pop-up, so it is not shown again right away. This stays on your device.
You can view, block, or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings at any time.
Claim tools that run in your browser
Documentation Checklist
The Claim Documentation Checklist can save your progress in your own browser's local storage, if you choose. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it at any time in the tool or in your browser settings.
Claim Calculator
The Claim Calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to our server.
Weather, storm data, and maps
Current conditions, forecasts, and alerts on this site come from the National Weather Service (api.weather.gov). Storm history comes from NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) Storm Events Database, and recent storm reports also come from the Iowa Environmental Mesonet. Our server requests this data, so your IP address is not shared with those providers.
Storm maps load map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap tile servers. When a map appears, your browser connects to those servers, which receive your IP address and standard browser information under the OpenStreetMap Foundation's own privacy and tile usage policies.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us operate the website, analytics, and email, under their terms and confidentiality obligations
- With your insurer or others involved in your claim, when you are a client and sharing is needed to handle the claim
- When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or a request from the Texas Department of Insurance
- To protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of others
Data retention
Because submissions arrive by email, they are kept in our email system as long as needed to respond to you, handle any resulting claim, and meet legal and regulatory record-keeping requirements. Inquiries that do not lead to representation may be deleted when they are no longer needed. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting in our Analytics account and Google's policies. You may ask us to delete your information, subject to our legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections, authenticated email delivery, and access limited to authorized people. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
We serve property owners in Texas. You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion, subject to legal obligations. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
Children's privacy
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
This website links to outside sites, such as government agencies, for reference. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content; please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the website or our practices change. The dates at the top of this page show when it took effect and when it was last revised.
